We just love this time around our house. Samantha is so much fun. She really gets the whole Santa thing this year. And she loves watching Christmas movies and singing carols. Its just awesome.
Last weekend we went on a scenic train ride with Santa! It was something we had never done before and I can see us doing it again (maybe not every year). It was freezing on the train for a long time since we were on the first ride of the day (lesson learned!) The boys even seemed to like it and Santa was so nice! He came to see every kid on the train and even gave us candy canes.
When we came home we decorated our tree and sang christmas carols as some snowflakes fell outside. Samantha was the best decorator ever! She really took her time and examined each ornament as she put it on the tree and she directed Ken and I to put ornaments up higher where she couldn't reach. We found another new spot for our tree this year, I think this is my favorite spot and will be "it" from now on. The tree is out of the way but can be enjoyed from each room of our downstairs.

This past weekend we went out to Bel Air for cookie baking weekend. We made lots of sugar cookies decorated in a variety of ways. Each year Samantha gets better and better at making these. We also made snickerdoodles (Pappy's favorite), chocolate chip, peanut butter, and some mints).
The boys have really started motoring around. And Dylan has finally learned the real crawl. I'm going to miss that army crawl of his! Dylan continues to be our curious guy, checking out how all his toys are made. He must take after his sister who was so curious how scissors work she cut her clothes (grrrr!). Bradley is our thinker and little cuddlebug. He loves to dance too! Every time he hears music he just can't help himself.
