Bradley is now walking everywhere. He's very slow and there better not be anything he needs to step over but I'm watching him walk all around the house.
On Wednesday Dylan took his first long series of steps. Back and forth between Mommy and Daddy with the biggest proud smile on his face. After a few times and the rousing ovation he received from Mom, Dad, and Sister Sam, Bradley had to join in. So there they were the two boys going back and forth between mom and dad one with just a little bit more experience than the other. They kept running into eachother, falling down together, and laughing a lot. It was so much fun.
They are really little boys now. They're so playful and do everything with a purpose. Last weekend was the first time that I really noticed my three kids playing together. We had out Samantha's little cinderella castle tent and her dora tent and the three kids were having a blast together. Bradley kept pressing his face up against the mesh window to check things out. Even Mommy got in on the action, Rosie the cat too.
I actually took a moment to say to Ken that "this is the reason we decided to have a second kid." As much as we want to play with Samantha, its nothing like her having a sibling (or two) of her own. It was really a special moment for me.
Last weekend we did our first March of Dimes walk. We did it with Pappy and Grandma, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Matt, Kevin and Max, Aunt Peggy, Uncle Sean, Aunt Kerry, Culley, Kylee, and Kamdyn. It was a hot day but a good walk with family. After the walk we went to Kerry and Sean's house for lunch and lots of play time. A great day for a great cause. Thinking of March of Dimes really brings us back to when the boys were first born and Bradley was in NICU. The walk was just a few days after a friend of a friend's 4 month old baby boy passed on, never making it out of NICU. My thoughts were with them during the walk. And I felt honored to raise a contribution for the March for Babies.
We've been enjoying the routine we've come up with around the house. Daycare, dinner, playtime, bathtime, and sleep. Its so nice to be in a routine!
We're all looking forward to summer. Hoping the constant runny noses and other stuff stop soon!
